Government publishes new autism strategy for England

Last month, the Government published its autism strategy, which sets out how it plans to support autistic adults and children in England over the next five years. In the new strategy, the Government has promised to tackle long diagnosis waiting times, after successful campaigning from National Autistic Society supporters. The strategy also covers mental health, employment, education, public understanding and the justice system. It has the potential to impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of autistic people and their families. Find out more by clicking here.
