For the past two evenings I have been attending an PECS Level 1 online workshop who kindly gifted me a place due to our ongoing relationship. I am going to share a bit about the workshop and the experience of doing it online with you.
As a parent I had not heard of PECS until it was recommended by our speech and language therapist. I really struggled with it at first because we only saw the speech therapist for 45 minutes a week in blocks of 6 weeks. I didn’t really know what I was doing or why. Attending the 2-day PECS Level 1 workshop gave me so much confidence in how and why I was implementing PECS.
