STOP, DROP & ROLL! We are proud to announce that we are partnering with the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (AARBF) to develop a new Pics for PECS® picture set! This set is for functional communication training focused on fire safety and burn prevention.
We hope that the use of our images, paired with AARBF’s fire and burn safety curriculum, will help make their life-saving messages accessible to a wider population. We aim to include those with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or communication challenges. Stay tuned as we plan to release this new picture set in February 2021 to coincide with Fire Safety Month.
The Alison Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (www.aarbf.org) is a California-based nonprofit organization. It’s aim is to significantly reduce the number of burn injuries through prevention, education and enhancing the quality of life of those affected by a burn injury.
