Autistic people and their families worked with the National Autistic Society to create a vision for a society that works for them.
NAS launched their ambitious Moonshot Vision project at the start of 2022 to get a better understanding of what a society that works should look and feel like for autistic people and their families. Watch on YouTube.
When NAS was founded 60 years again, their motive was clear. They wanted to create a world that worked better for their autistic children, and others like them and sixty years later, that is still the goal. But in those 60 years, society has changed a lot, a as has what is known about autism and what autistic people rightly expect from the world around them.
For the National Autistic Society, the Moonshot Vision will be central to everything they do. Their new organisational strategy will put them on a path to achieve it. Everyone they support, everyone who works with them, volunteers or fundraises, will be part of achieving it too.
