For a genuine review of our Universal NO Page from Jade Page visit her blog TheAutismPage. Jade is a mother of two autistic children, she has been implementing PECS® for a number of years now with both her children. In her own words:
“I use the Picture Exchange Communication System / PECS® with both my boys. My 6 year old is non-verbal and PECS® is his main communication method. My 4 year old is speaking but has little social communication so we are using PECS® to support him to extend his speech and try and introduce more social communication. It is a really easy way to say no for a PECS user as the page just sits within the communication book. I just wish it had been available when we were going through the teaching no phase”

In these restricted times you may be interested in our Universal NO Page for PECS. Sometimes things are just not available, and we are unsure when it will be.
The Universal NO Page is designed as a unique page for use in our Small and Standard PECS Communication Books where we move pictures of items that are unavailable. The learner can still exchange the picture but will learn that if the picture is on the No page, the item is not available.
